Designed in 2005, “Serene Hideout” is an artfully created hand-hewn log cabin located across from Lake Serena in the Tahoe area. No detail was overlooked in the creation of this cozy mountain retreat. Predominantly built from salvaged standing dead timber & locally quarried granite. The wide plank pine hardwood floors came from the east coast. As one looks out of the Great Room through the “Glass Forest” you can see the custom-designed tree branch iron railings. A local woodworker carved the bears, totem pole, and an eagle on site. This five bedroom five bath getaway also has a seven-person theater, a bar, a ski tuning room and an Italian wood-fired pizza oven in the kitchen.
